Tolon, also known as Tolo, is a fishing village approximately 12 kilometers away from Nafplion, the first capital of Greece. The seaside village of Tolon is build in an amphitheatric shape around the main sandy beach of Tolon called “Psili Ammos” meaning “Fine Sand” . Tolon, where Amaryllis hotel apartments are situated, is well know for it’s many excellent fish tavernas and good traditional restaurants mainly situated right on Tolo beach. In the area of Tolon, beyond the many fish tavernas and restaurants, one can find quite a few bars and nightclubs to spend the night away in the company of Greek or foreign music. HOW TO GET TO TOLON AND AMARYLLIS APARTMENTS
To get to Tolon, beyond the excursion boat connection from the Saronic islands of Poros and Spetses, and the boat connection from Gytheio port of Laconia in the Peloponnese, one can easily reach Tolo by flying into Athens airport or even Kalamata Airport.
From Athens to Tolon it is approximately one and a half to two hours drive, whilst from Kalamata the journey to Tolon takes around two and a half to three hours. There is also a daily frequent bus to Tolon from Athens with an approximate cost of just around Euro 10.00
